SEPY 1.5.2 RC25 with Python2.5

New look of the notebook tabsPython 2.5 was released some weeks ago, wxPython 2.7 has just come out with some little new features and bug fixes and so I put together a new release of SE|PY.
In the picture on the left you can see the new look of the Notebook’s tabs, thanks to the new Widget of Andrea Gavana.
pyRXp, the xml parser used until now for reading the as ActionPanel xml files, has been removed. Now I’m using only the 4Suite xml framework for parsing files and formatting xml inside the editor.
The svn support has been disabled because there isn’t already a compatible version of pysvn for python2.5.

P.S. It’s recomended to remove any previous installation of sepy because many dll has changed.

Uninstalled previous version, deleted the folder in program files and installed the new version and I’m getting the following error at startup: SEPY.exe Entry Point Not Found… The procedure entry point _except_handler4_common could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll. Then the program terminates.

    Hi Sephiroth,

I’ve just gotten back into Flash development after a long hiatus doing all types of python stuff. Thanks for the cool editor.

I saw in your about box that you’re using textmate to develop SE|PY, i’m going to suggest that you give pyscripter a shot. It’s a great python IDE that I have had lots of success with.

I’ve installed the latest version, I’m not upgrading from a previous version. The program won’t even open:

“SEPY ActionScript Editor has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.”

    Error signature:
    AppName: sepy.exe AppVer: 1.5.3.6 ModName: libapr-1.dll
    ModVer: 1.3.3.0 Offset: 0000831c

I’m on Windows XP Pro SP2 / 32 bit. The previous version (1.5.2.RC25-3) seems to work just fine
